On February 11, 2026, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) officially launched a digital monitoring system for cross-border goods, requiring the use of intelligent electronic seals for products such as alcohol, tobacco, and designated timber. This initiative marks a pivotal shift from traditional manual inspections to an automated, data-driven model for container management, ushering in a new era of regional logistics oversight. As the principal technology provider, Jointech has played a central role in shaping this transformation.
We have built strategic partnerships with the national operators of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, and have actively engaged with the Eurasian Economic Union to establish technical standards for electronic seals, data encryption protocols, and document interoperability. Our work ensures that regional trade integration is supported by robust digital infrastructure.

Policy Context: Digital Oversight and Technological Support
The EAEU’s cross-border monitoring policy is based on the agreement framework initiated on April 19, 2022, and has been phased in over several years with pilot projects. On February 1, 2026, a pilot for timber shipments between Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan was successfully conducted. By February 11, tracking requirements for alcohol, tobacco, and other specified commodities became mandatory. The policy aims to enhance transport security, ensure regulatory compliance for high-risk goods, and reduce administrative burdens for compliant businesses. Jointech contributed to the formulation of technical standards for electronic seals, providing professional solutions for secure data transfer and interoperability that accommodate operational differences across member states.
Core Collaboration: Three National Operators, Full-Scale Deployment
Jointech has partnered with the State Customs Infrastructure JSC of Kyrgyzstan, the National Cargo Tracking Center of Kazakhstan, and the Customs Technologies Company of Belarus to implement intelligent electronic seals. These devices combine satellite navigation and multi-sensor technology to enable real-time monitoring of shipments, delivering alerts for any unauthorized opening or route deviation. Installation takes less than 15 minutes, drastically reducing border clearance times while ensuring full traceability.
During a pilot conducted from December 2025 to January 2026, our technology demonstrated high reliability and adaptability, gathering valuable insights for the broader rollout. Jointech also provides comprehensive training and ongoing system support, ensuring national operators can maintain smooth, uninterrupted operations.

Recognition and Outlook: Driving Regional Trade Efficiency
The EAEU and its member states have recognized the positive impact of electronic seals. Kyrgyzstan’s State Tax Service highlighted faster inspections, better alignment between goods and documents, and reduced operational burdens for businesses. National operators emphasized the reliability, technical expertise, and compliance capabilities of Jointech’s solution.
Looking forward, the EAEU plans to expand electronic seal coverage across all cross-border shipments, accelerating digital customs modernization and regional trade integration. Jointech will continue optimizing its technology, improving data encryption, enhancing interoperability, and supporting member states in adopting unified technical standards. Today, shipments ranging from Russian timber to Armenian brandy pass through checkpoints efficiently, with electronic seals ensuring security and transparency. By combining cutting-edge technology with strong regional cooperation, Jointech is helping build a smarter, safer, and more streamlined Eurasian logistics network.
